Just Waiting
Mike is into the part of the regimen that should be starting up the methylation cycle. I am not noticing any difference in his behavior--he's still driving us bonkers as usual with his impulsiveness, inability to plan ahead, living in the moment. He is provoking his brothers as usual. I haven't seen as much anger since he stopped taking the Ritalin-type medication, Metadate, a couple weeks ago. I also took him off Abilify, which was supposed to be helping control anger but was really just making him very hungry. I think his appetite is normalizing now. He is still on two meds, clonazepam for anxiety and cymbalta for mood swings/depression. I think I'll leave those in place for now. We have an appointment with the psychiatrist in early Sept. to discuss these things.
