Today we are hearing from well-known author Kim Vogel Sawyer, some wise words that really struck a chord with me!  Kim said:

In September of 2004, when God revealed the source of my many chronic illnesses, I knew I had to break my habit of worry. I claimed Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.”

Yielding to worry is essentially telling God, “I don’t trust You.” Oh, how that must have grieved Him, to see me indulging in constant worry! I still battle temptation to worry (the flesh tries to win), but when I turn my eyes to Him–when I reflect on what He has done for me in the past, how He’s comforted and provided and strengthened me–the worry slips away and peace descends. And y’know? “Peaceful” is a pretty awesome place to be.
