Suzanne Hartmann and I, Phyllis Wheeler, working together as Castle Gate Press, published six or seven novels written by others, 2013-2018. We even won a Selah Award, but we had to stop because of health issues. Somehow the links to Castle Gate Press have remained active since then, leading you here.
Some advice. If you’re not in a writers’ organization, join one. You’ll never regret it. I’ve been in several, including Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, American Christian Fiction Writers, and Realm Makers. I’ve learned so much from other writers and teachers at conferences.
If you are looking for a Christian publisher, perhaps you might try Elk Lake Publishing, Inc. I found them to do a good job with my book The Long Shadow.
God bless your search for publication. Don’t forget to consider publishing your book yourself. There’s a big learning curve, and you MUST hire competent editors and cover designers. But the financial rewards there can be higher.
