Homeschoolers: Free study guides for worthy literature

As a veteran homeschooler and curriculum provider, it’s my mission to identify new literature that’s great for values-based homeschoolers.

I’ve asked some of the authors I have chosen to create free unit study guides to aid the busy homeschool mom or dad. We’ve put them on a group website, NewClassicsStudyGuides.com .

What are my criteria for choosing new classics?

* endearing characters,

* strong plots,

* emphasis on values and virtues, and

* avoiding controversial topics in literature for young children.
